Hyun Jae Lee

Prior to her appointment, Ms. Lee clerked for Chief Justice Alexandro C. Castro at the NMI Supreme Court, served as a staff attorney for the Law Revision Commission, and engaged in private practice under the tutelage of Joshua S. Berger on Saipan.
Ms. Lee graduated from Handong International Law School in South Korea, focusing on U.S and International Law. While in law school, she worked on practicums with the United Nations, CNMI Office of Attorney General, and human rights and social development organizations in the Philippines.
She is licensed to practice law in the CNMI and in Tennessee.
