On April 24, 2023, Chief Justice Alexandro C. Castro visited Dr. Rita Hocog Inos Jr./Sr. High School and made a presentation on the Law Week theme, "Cornerstones of Democracy: Civics, Civility, and Collaboration.” The Justices in the Classroom program is part of the Judiciary’s community outreach events leading up to Law Week. It provides an opportunity for students to interact directly with bench members.
On Friday, April 21, Kylee Dee’ara Manglona from Dr. Rita Hocog Inos Jr. / Sr. High School, 8th grade class, receives the Chief Justice Award and cash award for finishing First Place in the Cornerstones of Democracy Law Day Essay Contest.
